To her surprise, Rouge was dragged by a force field she was familiar with. "My my, she didn't wait long." she said chuckling before appearing in front of the group. She had missed them all, but now wasn't time for heartfelt reunion. "Nice to meet you all again, now what's the situation? My tech detected the presence of a strong electromagnetic field and it could be bad news for us." she briefly explained after she was mentioned to be the ideal woman to gather intel.

She tied her hair in a ponytail and triggered the punching daggers in her gloves ready for a fight. "James, if you'll provide me with a distraction. I will go find out who's our new enemy and maybe hack in a few robots along the way. I am dying for some action and a post villain ass-kicking massage." she said jokingly to ease up the tension in the air. She triggered a few trackers the size of a fly from her bracelet and waited for a comfirmation to proceed and go on her way to reach the target.'tracking devices online... '

James looked as he heard Shadow going on the offensive, he hadn't expected it but let it be as he kept moving towards the location of the SOS. He was then taken aback as he was engulfed in a bubble before he was moved to where Sonya was hiding out. The sudden shift to the tree did mess with his balance and nearly caused him to fall to the ground, but he managed to balance out and kneel down to try and hide despite his armour not being very well disguised. He remained silent at first as he listened to what the others had to say.

"Well, regardless of what has happened, we have to do something. I agree that Rouge is good at information gathering," he said, nodding to the bat, he was glad to see her again, "i can at least to my best to provide a distraction. It's not like i can sneak past the robots anyway, might as well cause a commotion and draw them away."

He was cut off by the doctor demanding that they were to be found and a search squad soon had them located and opened fire on the with stun rounds. He tried to get his own shield out from being resting on his back, but Sonya was faster to raise an energy shield around them as the voice sent shiver down the shepherd's spine. That voice? It was impossible to mistake, but it shouldn't be... that man was dead.
Nevertheless, he had to focus as another freedom fighter came in and caused a literal firewall to try and distract the robots. Sonya then capitalized on it converted their shield into a shockwave directed at the robots.

Seeing an opportunity, James jumped out of the tree, unhooked his shield and raised it while extending it to cover his entire body while standing. He knew staying the tree wouldn't work as he couldn't get a proper stance, he needed to be on the ground. He took a good grasp and made sure his stance was proper, then he started to move forward slowly as a large target for the robots to shoot at.

Nodding in agreement as Amy suggested a plan to the rest of the group, she was already mulling over the negative what ifs in her mind. At present this was the best course of action  they had in such a limited timeframe and she knew that if there was anyone that could exploit the weaknesses of their enemy in record time it would be Rouge, hacking was one of the many talents her mature friend possessed. Risky as trying to seize some of the smaller ships would be it was a risk that if successful would help turn the tides in massive ways. She had feeling that the operational systems wouldn’t be as easy as they all hoped but she trusted her comrades would figure that out when the time came.

Coaxed from her own inner monologue by the hesitancy in her sisters tone Sonyas sky blue hues met her emerald green ones, not that she was prepared for what she heard next. Still she forced herself to remain calm on surface fully taking in what Amy said. Had this been coming from anyone else she would have accused them of trying to play a very twisted prank. But this was Amy and Sonya trusted her word unconditionally, so if she said that Sonic was nearby, then he was nearby. Taking a moment to collect herself Sonya took in a shaky inhale and exhale before she spoke quickly dabbing at the tears that pooled in the edges of her vision. “Mine to. I’ll do my best to deal with the other threats along the way, but I’m not leaving here without Sonic.” Despite being aware that her transparency about her personal priorities were on display Sonya felt a little awkward but didn’t waver.

Her large fluffy ears twitching Sonya stiffened at the sound of that same confusingly familiar but disturbing croaky voice rattling through her sensitive ears she couldn't comprehend how it sounded so much like the man who should have been a ghost of the past."Am I being made fun of!? Am I being prrranked!? Am I being attacked by natives? I want to know what's going on, unit! Brrrring me the destroyed one's blackbox, find and bring me those aggressors that did this! This is unacceptable! I'll have someone's ass for dinner! Find them, find them, fiiiiiiiiind theeeeeeeeeem!" “Guys our time is up we have to-“ Her warning interrupted by arrival of the robotic underlings, static psychic energy was once again rippling around the entirety of the group, as a protective orb rapidly enclosed around them countering for the onslaught of stun rays, she knew that if given more time she would of been able to put up the force field around the entire tree rather than just the group but this would do. “I don’t know how long I’ll be able to keep this up for so we need to decide on our next move quickly!” Although it would appear that their next move would be partially decided for all of them thanks for the wall of blue flames that erupted from the ground creating a divide between them and the machines, and effectively buying them the few precious minutes they needed.

A wide grin spreading across her muzzle Sonya knew that flame magic anywhere, it looked her emergency frequency hadn’t failed her after all. "Thank you Soul! though you might want to stand back!” Taking advantage of the distraction provided the fennec thrust both hands outward before mentally and physically taking aim at the robots below, all the psychic energy that had been moulded into a protective barrier for herself and the group would immediately begin to cascade and swirl into her hands causing the orb around them to dissipate as her magic continued to build up, readying to be released swiftly in the form of a miniature shock wave, and clapping her palms together when the time timing felt right she did that. If her blast made successful contact with the intended targets below the impact with any luck would cause some kind of damage to the metallic humanoids although there was no guarantees.

Knowing that time was of the essence she sprang from the tree not long after James, manoeuvring into a frontward roll to cushion her landing, and pressing the small side button on her communicator to activate her battle suit she made strides towards the remaining robots attempting to propel her shield towards them with the hope of knocking them off balance.

It was still early in the morning and Soul was still asleep by then, but the sudden roar woke him up.  Was that thunder? he slid his curtains to discover that there seem to be no signs of a storm. He checked his COM to look at the time and it was half-past 4 AM, now awake he sensed two individuals coming west from him all so suddenly. At that moment his COM rang with a distress signal replying "This is Soul, I Copy, heading there now"as soon as he ended the response he bolted out of bed, get prepped and made his way to the scene while keeping wary of the drones Sonya mentioned.  He followed the direction in which Sonya was placed upon arriving he saw a huddle of robots coming in closer to Sonya and the rest. The hedgehog blasted a wall of light blue flames in an attempt to cut off the robot's from getting closer, hopefully, this would also provide as a cover for the two to escape assuming the robots didn't scan them fully yet.

The black hedgehog's little stunt would prove to have been a bad idea, seeing as so far the patrolling bots' search was proving fruitless. The robot did not even know what hit it but by the time between its demise and the group finishing their chitchat, just about every bot and scanner in the area was raising an alarming amount of transmissions in their monotone, dead voices.

"B-Series Unit 02-95 is not responding, search the last known whereabouts."

"All units, caution mode. Sweep for hostiles. Nonlethal unless ordered otherwise."

"Contact Lord Robotnik as soon as you find something."

The remnants of the wrecked heap that was once a robot were found surprisingly quick by a handful of the humanoid bots. Soon, in the already bustling activity of the mechanical creations, a few moments after one of the units relayed its report a new voice joined their radio transmissions, muffled, and... Hauntingly familiar to more than one of the hiding Mobians.

"Am I being made fun of!? Am I being prrranked!? Am I being attacked by natives? I want to know what's going on, unit! Brrrring me the destroyed one's blackbox, find and bring me those aggressors that did this! This is unacceptable! I'll have someone's ass for dinner! Find them, find them, fiiiiiiiiind theeeeeeeeeem!"

The screaming orders cut out afterward, in fact, the sheer boom of his voice over the radio seemed to have glitched up, the last "find them" coming off as less of a prolonged yell and more like a paulstreched sound-byte. With the increase in activity and... Proper inspiration to search every spot, it was unsurprising that the group was discovered by a squad of 7 relatively quickly in a most... Awkward fashion. The leading bot spotted the slightest oddity in colors within the foliage of a certain tree, halted his units, seemingly began scanning- Before all 7 pointed their wrist-weapons at the suspected spot. "You are intruding on Robotnik property, do not resist." they informed before just straight-up beginning to pelt the entire treetop with stun-rays.

Back inside the temporary headquarters' laboratory, the round man himself collected the ever-increasing physical paper reports being printed out of the large computer, still breathing heavily from his previous outburst. "...Fascinating. This is no merrre animal. At the very least, one good thing happened today... Male... Rrrelative of the Hedgehog species...? Physically appears to have been thrrrough a lot. I need to have a better look at this later- Guard, take this to my personal archive!" he handed out the, by now, large stack of inter-connected papers to the red guard-bot. "Physical! Naturally... Don't mix my holo-pads and papers up again..." with that, he turned to the other robotic assistant in the room. "And you, disconnect him and put him in a healing pod. And make sure it's worrrking first! Those things haven't seen use in ages... H- Heheh-" he finished with a shaky laugh, turning his red gaze to the hedgehog on the table. "I wonder if you'll make me happy a second time today, frrrrrriend..."

From the distance away on a higher standing point, Amy Rose surveyed the crater before her and the large space ships occupying the area. This wasn't going to be an easy mission, there was very little chance they were the peaceful kind of aliens, and honestly, given Mobius's history, she had yet to encounter one. She was careful to infultrate the forest, keeping her sense alert as she slipped through the trees, hoping that the stealth mode on her suit would give her cover from the alien robot's scanners as she made her way towards Sonya's location.

She could feel it. He was... Sonic was... close... Amy shook her head so to focus as she was hoisted in the trees by Sonya's gift. Letting out her breath, she glanced at everyone who arrived, giving Shadow a concerned look before turning to Sonya. "I..." she paused hesitantly, then continued. "Our priority is their leader, take him down then maybe we can win. We are outnumbered and outgunned, and know basically nothing about this intruder and how to beat them. Rouge, you're good at gathering information. If these things have computers, find one and try to find their weaknesses, schematics or something and send it through our devices, maybe see if the robot forces can be turned off remotely." she looked at the others. "In the meantime, Perhaps some of us could seize one of the smaller ships and make use of its technology and firepower, that can help even the odds, hopefully it can be operated easily." she said, hoping her ideas wouldn't lead to someone getting killed. Then there was the other matter...

Amy looked up from her musings and said hesitantly to those present. "There is... another thing though. Sonya, before you sent the message out... I... I sensed Sonic. I have not felt his presence on Mobius since he... since that day in Robotroplis. He's here and he's close by. I can't pinpoint him but... there is no mistaking it." she swallowed the lump in her throat, and steeled herself as she tried to think like the strategist she had been. They had a mission to do. "Taking down this intruder is important but..." she looked pleadingly into Shadow's eyes as she spoke. "My priority will be to find Sonic."

When her transmission didn’t receive any immediate responses the fox medic began to fret. What if her wide range frequency had been jammed by the storm? Or what if her emergency message had managed to reach others but it was too static for them to make any sense of? Just as all these various what if scernaos began to swirl anxiously in mind her communicator burst to life with multiple voices that she recognised, and in that moment relief swept through her like a tidal way upon shore. Suppressing the lump of emotion that tried to form in her throat she raised her communicator to her lips for a reply, only to stop short as her towering fluffy ears pinned high on her head giving the occasional flicker when she unintentionally tuned into parts a conversation that she knew wasn't supposed to be overhearing.  "Scanner units... Sweep-scan surrounding area outside fooo-rrrest! "Foooooorrrrrwaaa-a-a-rrrd. "As for... That. An... Hmmmnnn, interesting specimen. I want it in my perrrsonal laboratory. Bring a body bag, and... Sssstrrrap it down just in case. "I want detailed readings, hook it up to my rrresearch desk, I will be over shortly..."

Struggling to hear much else beyond her heartbeat pounding in her ears Sonya forced herself to inhale and exhale until the weakness that had plummeted deep into her bones felt manageable. Her mind was running wild with countless questions and confusion about what she heard but she needed to focus first. Her fellow resistance members were nearby by but if she didn’t act fast then they would be located within moments thanks to the prompt surveillance increase. Waiting until the others communicator dots appeared to be grouped closer together in proximity on her own CPU screen, Sonya splayed her palm outwards, having only seconds to provide caution as she spoke into her gadget. “Everyone take a breath.”

Her fingertips crackling with psychic energy she closed her eyes, concentrated, and then coiled her fingertips tightly into a fist, in sync with the movement all within her location range would soon find themselves only on ground for a split-second before being engulfed by dome shaped electric blue energy, followed by being immediately delivered and deposited to where she was currently taking refuge. Only when they were within the coverage of the thick tree boughs would Sonyas bubble like force-fields vanish from sight releasing her friends and teammates in the process, in a display of lethal looking but harmless electric shimmers. “Sorry about that but given the amount of security patrolling the area I didn’t have time for us to group less impromptu. Whoever this person is they’re clearly no armature. We did have the element of surprise here to a degree, but thanks to a certain someone that’s out the window.” Fixing the black and crimson hedgehog with a briefly vexed stare she continued. “I wanted us to meet here because from what I’ve seen and heard so far there’s no way we can go charging into this without a solid strategy, does anyone have any ideas?”

Late in the morning, the black hedgehog minded his own business as usual,  partaking training in isolation away from the city,. a night of practice will do him wonders to relieve stress. He may be forced to take a involuntary break from G.U.N for a week, it doesn't mean he was going to slack off in physical activity.  In a field with green pastures, three vertical tree logs marked with circular targets, Shadow jumped in the air and discharged a series of three Chaos Spear projectiles, landing their mark on in the center simultaneously.  The ultimate lifeform quietly folded his arms observing the arrow-shaped chaos energy dissipated, exposing the targets for another round.

A ship of unknown origon is stationary in the sky, its metallic architecture brought an ominous presence over critters and mobians below,  its roaring engines and deployment of smaller ships grabbed Shadow's attention, pondering the location they are being dropped. The dark doppelganger's communicator received an SOS message from Freedom Fighter Sonya, taking a look, scarlet eyes locked unto a holographic screen.

Quote
“If anyone is reading this, this is Sonya Heart, I’m messaging for immediate back up! this is an emergency if anyone is reading this please hurry and please be careful the forest is being patrolled by unusual looking robots and I don’t want to think about what will happen if any of us are caught by one of those.”

No phrase uttered to confirm his assistance, deciding to hang up the message quietly and tailed after the triangular aircraft in blistering speed. Arriving closer to the scene, the black hedgehog spotted a robot scouting the area, a strange battle droid the doctor warned everyone, does it belong to Eggman? It cant be..he was dead!  it looks quiet different from the doctor's inventions, maybe not.  Whatever this thing is, it will be sent to the junkyard where it belongs.

The black blur dash towards the robot, shredding the intruder into scraps by ramming through it with speed alone,  standing over the wreckage with a cold glare then allowed stern eyes to scan his surroundings for Sonya's whereabouts.

It was early in the morning and slow as ever in the city. Some of the townsfolk were either still sleeping or out and about doing morning routines. One such person was busy at his agency catching up on the latest comic book series. Blaze the wolf, bounty hunter of Wolves May Cry was just simply sitting around waiting for anything to happen. He had been up for sometime now after his partner had already headed out for the day. He never understood why she was so eager to get out and work but he choose not to speak on it.

After finally finishing his last comic, he sat it down on the table and started tapping his foot as he tried to think of something to do. After a few minutes, he sighed and stood up. " Come on man! Veira gets all the good jobs and I'm stuck here waiting for something to jump off. Every since Eggman kicked the bucket, its been pretty slow around here. And with Sonic gone...." he paused as he looked out the window. Memories from the war came back to him as he crossed his arms staring at the morning sunrise.

" It's just not the same without blue here...what i wouldn't give for some action right now." he replied to himself. Suddenly as if on cue, his communicator went off. A voice began to go off on a open frequency . He would recognize the voice for only a moment before responding to it.

" Doctor Sonya? Well what do you know. My plans for the day just changed. On my way Doc sit tight. " Blaze replied as he walked over to his gear and slipped it on. Taking one last glance around his shop, he gave a small nod to his thoughts and proceeded to head for the forest area. Once outside, he stretched for a moment before blasting off in blazin speeds with a small trail of fire behind him.

" I can already tell....this is going to be one hell of a party." he thought to himself as he blasted pass the city gates and into the forest zone.

Amy was in Green Hills, a top a loop hill, balanced on her hammer and meditating. She had just gotten through her personal workout through the zone's course, and now was making use of her cool down when what felt like a lightening bolt crashed through her mind. Amy gasped as she toppled off her hammer and onto the soft grass, bolting up with her eyes wide, she spoke in a stuttered whisper. "S-Sonic... He's here-" she went silent when her communicator went off and her surrogate sister's voice could be heard needing backup in a forest zone. She put her feelings to rush towards where her instincts were screaming about Sonic long enough to check the GPS on her device to see Sonya's location. "This is Amy Rose, received SOS, on route!" she said, activating her battle suit and grabbing her hammer then launched off the hill top, running full speed to her destination and feeling a combination of dread and gratefulness that her Sonic radar was pointing her in the same direction. "Sonic... Sonic... Sonic!" thoughts of him whirled in her mind as her speed picked up and she became a pink blur to the rest of the world. In her rush, she had forgotten to notify a very special dark hedgehog of her mission as only thoughts of blue were taking priority.
