Amy Rose felt as if she had been hit by one of Eggman's old wreaking balls. As if all air had left her lungs and the proverbial rug had been yanked out from beneath her. When Sonic's presence hit her sense on full blast and he was standing before her, she became almost possessed by her emotions. She couldn't breathe, she couldn't think, her ears were ringing as memories of witnessing Sonic being vaporized before her eyes came back.
All the grieving she went through, repressing her feelings to console others in their pain, nearly destroying herself in training to become stronger, so she could stop feeling. All of that... and now he was back.
"S-S-So-on-nic...?" she whispered as her lungs found air once more. She didn't register her trembling body or how her eyes stung and watered at the moment, she could only stare at the man who held a dear place in her heart. She took a step forward as her hand was outstretched to touch him, to make sure that he was alive.
At that moment, she had forgotten the mission, the invaders, everything. All that mattered to her right now was Sonic.

In a second Rouge found herself in quite the predicament and couldn't help but noticed the lipstick all over her face. Though she couldn't see the exact pattern she knew only one person could do it without her knowing. ''REAL **** CLASSY BLUE!!!!''She yelled before realizing she was tied to a tree. She triggered one of the hidden blades from her wrist and slowly slit the ropes holding her against the tree. '' Can you believe that **** thinks he's funny... That lipstick is quite expensive and he will soon hear about me...'' She said angrily before snapping the links that kept incapacitated. She then used her communicator.
'' Agent Rouge reporting, we have a rogue amidst our ranks and it's not a mere regular Mobian. Shadow honey if you hear it, please be careful and James, Love. be prudent.'' She said to them before wiping the lipstick off her face with a wipe she kept in case of make-up mistakes and snuck amongst the trees to get close to the nearest robot she could find.

One minute she was dodging out of flattening pancake range from various humanoid robots and then darkness and a thud as she felt her body weight abruptly hitting the ground. A mixture of emotions panged through her at once confusion, fear, hysteria, until she forced herself to calm down and self-assess what had happened logically. There were very few individuals she knew that could move at such phenomenal speeds and given she knew her beloved wouldn't be making an appearance anytime soon, and  childish pranks were beneath Shadow, which only left one conclusion.
 
Wrenching her headband off in time to catch sight of her childhood best friend giving her a playful wink, as his irritatingly witty remark sunk in she tried to bring a hand to her mouth to stifle a gasp, but one quick glance around her confirmed that Sonics antics hadn’t extended to her alone. Had it been any other situation she might have laughed at the state he’d gotten everyone into but instead her overwhelming love and relief for the hedgehogs return evaporated as her anger emerged. Unaware of the tears spilling down her cheeks after yanking the custom shoelaces off her boots with the hand that currently wasn't handcuffed to the wolf with excessive amounts of force, she was back on her feet in seconds shooting Blaze an apologetic look for dragging him up alongside her in the process, before speaking very bluntly her tone becoming more and more earsplitting as the minutes passed. “I know that being flashy and making an entrance is your thing but seriously NOW OF ALL TIMES?!  KNOCK IT OFF DUMBASS I MEAN IT!” As if everything wasn't already confusing enough somehow he'd managed to bundle her into one of his stupid self made t-shirt fan merch great just great.   

Deciding to try and take advantage of her friend being briefly distracted she pressed splayed fingers together her whole hand crackling with the same amount of psychic energy she'd used earlier as a force field bubble filled to the brim with stream water swiftly constructed in mid air hovering she hoped high enough above Sonics head for him to be none the wiser. Releasing the water with a dainty flick of her unbound wrist, while he was still prattling on to Shadow and Amy she knew that if her water technique hit its mark and he got soaked she wouldn’t hear the end of it, but maybe this would snap him out of his odd Jekyll and Hyde persona.

"That you danced? No, I knew. But I suppose I should be flattered that you would pick me to be a dance partner." She said, gliding into a twirl with ease. She may or may not have had her gophers look up things about Skye because she may or may not have been interested.

The medical Mobian's move would turn out to be a success, with 4 of the originally 7 bots getting demolished. The remaining 3 would, unsurprisingly, just keep the shielded group under fire. The 'little' encounter was, actually, attracting even more attention from the robots nearby who joined in on the assault. By all means, they were just attempting to brute-force the barrier through sheer firepower at this point, while a smaller group switched their attention to the shielded Mobian, beginning to open nonlethal fire upon him without anything that could be considered tactical prowess.

Back in the main ship, Robotnik was observing the current situation through a rather massive screen which was relaying a visual feed through the eyes of one of his robots currently confronting the group of what he perceived to be animals. Animals with some sort of innate powers and enough intellect to wear things, it appeared. He was silently observing the happenings until he, at first, heard an alarm go off after the healing pod was broken, then was confronted with the interesting critter that he had previously ordered to be rejuvenated. He either failed to perceive the blue blur's preparation of an attack before he changed his mind, or he straight-up just had all the confidence in the world about his armor's protectivity. Either way, as soon as he saw him back down he began yelling "Ah, shut it off, shut the alarm off!" and, whether he had a radio built into his armor or by the sheer volume of his voice ringing out through the lifeless halls, his demand was fulfilled.

"You are... Sentient-" the Overlander began and was promptly interrupted about as soon as he tried to continue. He kept his composure surprisingly well as the Mobian spoke his part, almost responding before the hedgehog began talking again about the current situation. After the proposal, the massive man ran through his train of thoughts for a moment before just smiling. "Well, this explains a few things. You arrre... More than welcome. As for these... I am surrrprised they are not with you." he made a non-threatening motion towards Sonic as he finished his sentence before he turned back towards the screen, incidentally in time as it went to static shortly before switching to the viewpoint of another unit in the field. "Please, be my guest, these fellows are so unexpectedly aggressive. I haven't been this rrrudely greeted upon arrival since... Neverrr you mind- But we do indeed need to have a detailed talk later, therrre is so much I am veeeeeery lost about." he paused for a moment. "Guards, get me a rifle. I will be joining the scene myself shorrrtly, hopefully anyone with a capability to speak will be left by the time you're done."  he finished with a short chuckle before his face was encased in his segmented, retractable helmet. "Open the main door!" he ordered sharply as one of his guards approached him with what was clearly some form of an oversized, red assault rifle, likely laser-based like most of the Overlander's equipment. "I'll inform the fielded units to not get in your way, safe trrravels!" he barked at the hedgehog. Judging by his talk through the helmet so far, it seemed to make his voice sound louder and even more artificial than usual, it likely had some sort of internal and external transmitter to ensure his speech wouldn't come out muffled.
