Without surprise Cello was able to receive a reply back from her friend. As far as she knew he was the type to take the time in structuring messages properly - punctuation and all - so his reply raised a feathery brow from the bird. 'Maybe he was in a hurry.' she figured, there were pressing matters at hand after all. She even tapped her phone's screen a few times, 'Damn, screen is acting up again. Always at the most inconvenient times too, huh?' she thought grumpily to herself:

['Here' as in Tails’ Workshop? Go̷o̴d̴ ̶t̴he De-Robotic̶i̶z̶e̸r̶;̴ ̵s̶h̶e has a volatile Chaos Emerald induced cond̴i̸t̶i̸o̸n̷ ̴C̴a̴r̴oline there will kill her. Warn the team on your side. I trust yo̸u̷]

Just like any other situation, Cello was prompt with replying to messages, so she tapped a reply back before pocketing her phone again. Little did she know of the inteferences at the other end, if she's lucky he might just get that message at all.
[You got it!]

After hearing the Robian's reply she squeezed the metallic hand lightly and hopefully in a reassuring way, "Don't worry, we won't. You're with experienced Freedom Fighters, so we got this and we're going to be fighting for your freedom too." the bird chirped with a wink, trying to keep things as positive as possible and also added a quick thank you to the newly-arrived doctor.

When it felt right, the avian slipped her habd away from Sapphire's and quickly made her way over to Tails, even flapping her wings slightly to not only speed up a fraction, but they also helped her take long, gliding strides as her toes barely touched the ground as she went.
"Tails," she urged from behind him but also not so suddenly as to startle him as he worked, "I just got word from Doubles, the De-Robotosizer is-a-go solution for us now."
The lyre bird briefly looked over her shoulder, watching the black ooze drip from Sapphire as Sonya tenderly took over, "And from the looks of things not a moment too soon. Anything we can do to speed things up? He's also mentioned that she has a Chaos Emerald induced condition and with Caroline in here it'll kill her. My guess is some form of instability or whatever her powers are it could be something that could cause for the condition go volatile? So we would have to make preparations in case she comes here too. What do you think?"

The avian made her way over to Tails’ workshop by foot – despite already mentioning that she preferred to fly when a lift was offered earlier – but truthfully the reason why she hadn’t taken to the skies was to stay close to Sapphire and Tails. While she genuinely wanted to help Sapphire as much as possible, she also felt an obligation and loyalty to Tails to watch out for him even more so. Not that he wasn’t capable – Cello knew full well there was so much he could do that she couldn’t – but it was something she felt like what a good friend would do.

As she entered the workshop she cast the Fox a concerned grimace after a quick glance at the recent injury which had been afflicted upon him earlier. For now he seemed to be okay and as ever the feathered Mobian listened to every word and acknowledged with a nod before making her way over to stand beside Sapphire.

Maybe it was the way her body posture was or the more obvious retreating step when the Robotosizer started up, Cello offered a small smile to the anxious Robian and extended an open palm towards her, “If you want, you can hold my hand. I’m here for you.” she said softly, trying to be reassuring it was then she noticed the doctor enter and introduce herself. A sigh of relief escaped from the beak of the bird with a slight whistle, stepping back a little so as to not get in the way when Sapphire had moved in for a hug.

For now things seemed to be buzzing and moving along smoothly, plus with the blue Robian already preoccupied with Sonya, Tentei and with what is yet to come, Cello didn’t want to risk overwhelming the situation by directly contributing to it and opted to be an extra set of eyes and ‘ears’ for now. That is of course, until she just remembered something and quickly pulled out her phone from her pocket. After several swipes and taps a message was sent to a friend she had parted with just earlier that day,

[She’s back here and safe. Hope all is well for you.]

The avian, still alert yet empathetic than ever, carefully watched and listened to those around her; mentally taking note of what seemed to be the important details. After hearing Amy's response she nodded, "Of course." the bird chirped back before leaving Amy be as she started to speak into her phone.

It seemed that most of the group had opted to hop into the car, which was a good idea by the bird's deduction but upon the offer she declined with a slight head shake, "Thanks but I prefer to take it to the skies."

When the Robian made efforts to respond, be it with the few words or subtle movements to indicate the answers to the bird's questions. Cello felt reassured that Sapphire was okay with her using her gravity manipulation, if it was needed, despite that Cello was sure that the Robian looked as though she
was about to be sick when the bird had reversed the direction of gravity earlier. Or perhaps was that purely Cello's imagination?

At the answer regarding deactivating her weapons, the feathered Mobian awkwardly looked skyward as she rolled her right wrist as she calculated which words to use next carefully. She then looked back to Sapphire, "I sorta meant, that if Tails or someone else present knew how to, to deactivate your weapons for you; rather than asking you to do so yourself. Personally, I'd trust Tails the most with that task but I figured it was only fair to let you know ask and even ask permission for such a thing. You obviously don't want to hurt anymore, and reducing the risk of being able to cause harm, I think, would help with that." she said gently, maintaining eye contact before briefly glancing to Tails for his thoughts on the suggestion. Given the urgency of the situation, she didn't expect an immediate response either.

At the next question she looked back to Sapphire and gently placed a hand on her upper arm, "We have a team looking for your sister right now and they're currently being lead by a good friend of mine, Doubles, I can say that without a shadow of a doubt that Caroline will be safe. You needn't worry." Cello replied, the last of her knowledge on the matter was how they had split up earlier into two teams when the group had left the workshop to look for the sisters, but nothing more than that.

As they continued to make their way back, Cello nodded softly at the once-Mobian's comment, "It's alright, we're here to keep you afloat." the bird replied just as quietly as they followed Tails back to his workshop; all the while doing her best to help Sapphire along if she needed both the physical and emotional support.

Having Sonic shooting off and returning just as suddenly wasn’t all too surprising, but what he had brought back was. After hearing how he had described what was in that case the Avian stiffened, casting a fleeting and uncertain glance towards Sapphire and then Tails. Sure she trusted Tails, and therefore by extension Sonic as well, but conducting such a brash move didn’t make the bird feel any less uneasy.

She then listened carefully to the various exchanges which had followed; despite feeling nervous about the Chaos Emeralds being here, she continued to find the new information interesting. She then offered Sapphire an empathetic look as she spoke to Amy, “I can probably assist in addition to any restraints which may be in place.” Cello piped up, figuring that what she was offering was pretty obvious, “Though perhaps might I suggest when the time comes to deactivate your weapons before attempting to restrain you as an extra precaution? At the very least if the programming becomes overwhelming it reduces the risk of causing injury or destruction of some kind.” she continued before looking over to Tails, “If that is possible to do?”

“It must be an awful feeling.” Cello cooed as she helped steady the Robian before trying to give her small but reassuring smile, “But the fact you are still aware of what feeling is like enough to draw a comparison to its absence, there must still be some hope for you, right?”

The avian listened closely when her question was answered and when the bird replied again her voice continued to be calm and gentle, “Well that’s a reasonable deduction and your sister was the feline mobian in red from earlier, correct?” she said, more so than asking as she took a silent moment to look out towards another part of the city before looking back to Sapphire, “I am certain that if you share a strong bond with your sister she would be all too happy to forgive you. If anything, our best bet for your recovery may rely on a combination of her abilities and Tails’ know-how with the Derobotosization process.”
It seemed that she was leaving out one aspect to the solution on purpose; perhaps it was because she too didn’t feel all too comfortable with the amount of uncertainty of which could result in anything to happen if they had decided to use them right off the bat. In any case, Cello hoped for it to be used as a very last resort if possible – if needed at all.

A wary glance glinted behind Cello’s eyes as she heard the last word uttered from the Robian, “Let’s get going, there’s no more time to lose.”

Some of Cello’s feathers on her head flickered subtly as she heard Sonic through the small earpiece she seemed to always wear – likely from habit due to her prior work about a month ago – but beyond that she didn’t seem to react at all towards Sonic’s praise. It wasn’t that she didn’t acknowledge him nor did she dislike him, there were just vastly more pressing matters at hand right now to reply – at the very least she figured she could thank him in person soon anyway, since he said that he was on his way.

Low and behold, the Blue Blur himself had arrived and the avian gave him a fleeting, silent greeting with a glance over to him as they briefly made eye contact. She was a bit wary about how Sonic would react to this situation right now, given that Tails had been taken hostage by the robot. She was certainly curious about the hedgehog’s behaviour, especially when he was particularly known for not being rather considerate of a robot’s wellbeing. Amy had raised a very valid question as well, Cello had decided, considering that I felt rather out of the blue that she hadn’t even heard of Sonic knowing a Robian well enough to have some sort of bond. Whilst the Information Broker knew a great deal of many things, she still didn’t know everything and given how close she was to Sonic’s best friend and Tails’ natural curiosity for science, she would have at least have heard of Sapphire before today.

Today was certainly very intriguing indeed. The unknown was just out of her reach and she was certainly eager to grasp onto it and learn all she could.
Feeling both relieved that Sonic had joined in on the negotiations, the bird simply nodded encouragingly as she cast Sapphire a hopefully reassuring smile. She certainly didn’t protest when Sonic had put his arm around her, wanting to hopefully aid to the reassurance that they had been trying to put forward when confronting Sapphire.

“It’ll be alright, Sonic.” Cello piped up shortly after the blue hedgehog had proclaimed about how protective he has been over Sapphire, “It was a misunderstanding, I hardly blame them for reacting they way they did given what had just finished barely a month ago. I have confidence in them as much as I do that Sapphire will be safe.”
Hearing him continue to bark out orders too was rather odd for Cello to hear, she clicked her beak quietly a few times as she took note of the unusual nuances of octaves in the hedgehog’s voice and filed them away for later as she kept a watchful eye on Sapphire for now.

“I am certain that Tails will be more than happy to do all he can to help you, Sapphire.” she replied calmly with a glance over to the twin-tailed fox’s direction. It seemed that the avian had a similar idea to Tails and kept her thoughts to herself for now when Sapphire questioned the others for any input from her in that regard now may not be very beneficial for anyone.

Especially with Tails’ life on the line.

Besides, those questions weren’t directed at her anyway. Her gentle smile then grew a little more when she noticed that the Robian didn’t show any signs of hostility towards Cello when she approached; at the very least it could potentially be a sign that things may be able to work towards their favour in the end? Hopefully?
A gentle sigh escaped from Cello when she heard the question, “If it makes you feel better I can keep them grounded for you.” she began as she tapped her crest feathers for emphasis, “However I truly do not believe that I will have the need to, because  I have every confidence in them that they won’t... unless he gets hurt. Something I do not want for anyone today.”

Watching Sapphire’s reactions was very intriguing for the avian a part of her wanted to provoke more of those endearing reactions as a matter of curiosity as to finding out how much this Robian was capable of feeling or doing with that regard and the other part, of course, would be for the well being of everyone present today. Then the more profound reactions to Sonic’s words caused for Sapphire to be unsteady on her feet, while there were not tears her mechanical body did show signs of some degree of remorse or regret, by Cello’s estimation. Such unsteady movements on her feet only prompted Cello to move in closer to Sapphire and place supportive hands on one of the Robian’s arms and shoulder to help support her balance.

“Easy now, it’s alright.” she murmured whilst at the same time counting her lucky stars that Tails was released and at least safer than he was just moments earlier. Cello’s crest feathers flickered when she heard Tails speak up again and she looked back at him as she held gently onto Sapphire, “Then we should make as much of the time we have to help her. Hopefully we might be able to before time runs out.” Cello replied, only to have the urgency reaffirmed by Sapphire moments later. Even though Sapphire had managed to regain her footing, Cello stayed close to her and held gently onto her arm for as long as the Robian permitted. There was a pause at the question before she followed up with one of her own, “I was hoping that you could explain this solution you had in mind to us. So that we can gain a better understanding on how to help you, what to expect and make sure the best possible outcome can happen. At the very least, if the programming takes over again, you have someone else to rely on and continue with your efforts for this cure of yours when you don’t have control over it.” she asked with an empathetic tone and while she truly did want the best for the Robian, it could also provide potential for them to think of alternatives to the seven wonders concealed within the case.

Petrov’s arrival earned a wary stare from the bird, while she could understand his frustrations she was still concerned about how Sapphire would react. Even to a point where she stopped herself from  crossing her fingers in hopes that his comments wouldn’t provoke Sapphire. She also seemed pretty wary of the detective too, but she could also see that he meant well. Then with how Lukas and Amy had followed up with the situation, it made her smile in knowing that she was right to have faith in them too, even though she didn’t know much about them.

Cello’s habits were born from her role in the Resistance and combined with her natural curiosity, the Avian Mobian was certainly quite the observant one. Her reactions to the shifts in gravity were interesting and peculiar -  the bird had heard of her having some form of illness, but witnessing the rather organic reactions were intruiging – and had decide to file such observations for later; maybe Tails might find it useful?

The destruction the Robian had caused was certainly inexcusable, in Cello’s opinion, but reprimanding the robot now probably wouldn’t be the right thing to do just yet. She took note of Sapphire's responses, all of which were silent but at least cooperative.
‘So she’s receptive and can understand me. A good start at least…’

Cello’s feathers about her face, neck and chest fluffed up anxiously when she heard a certain pink hedgehog yelling and attempting an attack on Sapphire. Certainly she understood everyone’s initial reaction and choice in action to help prevent further destruction of the city was understandable – in fact, Cello might have likely reacted in a similar way had she not been at Tails’ workshop prior and had learnt what she had thus far of the situation; albeit it wasn’t particularly that much, but it was… something. She had opened her beak to object and hope that it was possible to bring everyone to reason just enough to at least not attack the Robian right off the bat, but it seemed that Sapphire had already stepped in with a retort of her own.
‘Why choose to do that now? Can she copy other Mobian’s attacks on the fly? Or has she gathered information prior about certain individuals and able to replicate after gathering such data? So many questions. So curious.’

Some amalgamation of distressed noises - some odd mix of a feline yowl and a wind turbine - escaped from the bird’s beak when Sapphire’s tone had turned more aggressive, prompting to raise a hand towards her in hopes of possibly being able to ask her not to attack as well? However, Cello would find that she didn’t quite find enough time to see if she was successful or not when Tails had finally arrived. She breathed a sigh of relief and cast him both a thankful smile and a wave as a greeting. Unfortunately for Cello, one thing continues to happen after the other like a domino effect – what a crazy day this has been already!

“Wait!” she cried as Sapphire had taken Tails hostage; taking a step forward with an outreached hand towards them. Cello paused for a moment, looking to the others and thankful to hear and see that they were willing to at least hear this situation out. They all seemed to be reasonable at least and Cello was hoping that it may be possible for all them to not have to resort to attacking Sapphire just yet and had given nods of acknowledgement when being addressed or to confirm she had heard them.

“Please, Sapphire, I‘m really sorry for the rocky start but look at these Mobians, they’re all reasonable and respectable. They’re not attacking you now and I can promise you that Tails and I will do our very best to make sure that you’ll be safe too but we can only do that if you are also able to do the same for us. Please.” she pleaded gently as she took slow an deliberate steps towards the pair with her hands out in front of her cautiously, but also to show that she had no weapons on hand nor was she able to reach for anything concealed. If Sapphire truly wanted to, she would have a very clear shot at Cello, despite having helped her at the workshop either.

She then cast the robot a gentle, reassuring smile as she slowly reached for the canon and placed an open palm between it and Tails’ head, “Remember how I asked if we could talk? I really think that could help all of us and you right now. They attacked you because of lack of data and their first impression of you was attacking a city beloved by all of us – not too long after the war against Eggman no less, so it was one big misunderstanding. Please, if you don’t want to hurt anymore, it starts by lowering your weapon and speaking with us. “

She took a moment to breathe calmly, “I don’t want you to hurt anymore either.”

Following the path of destruction was both easy and worrisome for the bird. About half way through her flight she had realised that she wasn’t able to fly fast enough by her estimation and had accelerated her speed by manipulating the direction of gravity on her own person and free-fell towards her destination.

Soon enough, Sapphire was within sight, a lyre sound thrummed from the flickering crest of hers and her manipulation of gravity had ceased; leaving her to hover mid-air with the flapping of her wings. She grimaced at the destruction before then gliding towards her whilst also maintaining a comfortable distance.

“Sapphire? Is that your name? May I call you Sapphire?” she asked diplomatically, but also loud enough to be heard over the destruction, “I’m not sure if you already know my name, but it is Cello and I wanted thank you for saving me from that door from earlier. So much was happening that I didn’t get a chance to before now.”

Alas, yet another thing was happening before she could get an answer – at least, not one right away – and the avian was very familiar was the sound of a weapon firing a projectile sounded like and she reacted rather instinctively the split moment she heard it. She didn’t care if she was reacting out of paranoia or the answer was pretty clear as to who the target was, or rather, she didn’t even stop to entertain thought. She had to act.

And act she did. All of sudden her crest feather thrummed an anxious lyre note and even glowed a little; then Sapphire, herself and any loose debris, public transport, objects of various kinds within close proximity were suddenly sent flying skyward. Once again she found that she couldn’t move an inch of her body as they fell upward, but the bird was all too familiar with freefalling to worry. The sudden change of momentum was very abrupt, so much so that part of the road below had crumbled in a roar of agony as parts of that were sent flying upwards too. All of that just in the nick of time as Cello watched the red energy was shot right past them. It too had been taken off its course due to the shift of physics; arching skywards but at least missing the target.

Exhaling a sharp sigh of relief and after a quick check that she hadn’t picked up anyone below by accident, another lyre thrum echoed from her crest feathers and the shift and pressure of gravity had receded back into normalcy. Everything within the grasp of the bird’s fell back down to the ground in a chaotic clutter of bangs and plumes of dust and dirt were sent flying in all directions. Cello fell towards the ground too for a few seconds, but not before she was able to regain moment of her body and was able to hover on the spot again. Afterwards she checked over Sapphire’s body, hoping that she didn’t get ‘injured’ by any near misses or anything of the like, “Are you okay?” she asked the Robian, “I’m sorry about that, it all just kinda happened. Listen, after a bit can we talk? Is that okay? It doesn't have to be about anything you don't want to talk about. I just want to get to know you better, if you would let me.”

Not long after she whirled on the spot to look at the approximate direction where the weapon had been fired. She couldn’t see exactly where Lukas was just yet but she certainly shouted loud enough to be heard, “HOLD YOUR FIRE!” she bellowed and then rounded at the Detective’s direction when she heard his shout, “I SWEAR TO CHAOS DETECTIVE I WILL MAKE YOUR FACE KISS THE CLOUDS IF YOU OR YOUR FRIEND TRY ANYTHING ON HER!”

The avian watched what was going on around her attentively, taking in any new information or sounds she could to file away for a later purpose.
‘Missy? It is a she? And she feels fear? How interesting.’ Cello wondered as she kept those debris and other objects of the workshop floating. Her attention narrowed down onto the hedgehog when he asked her a question, albeit somewhat surprised, but even though she couldn’t move her body right now, she was still able to speak, “Mmm, potentially but it won’t be immediate. If she decides to run it’s too risky for immediate action on my part.” she confirmed, “Gravity Manipulation lacks the finesse someone with Telekenesis abilities would. I have to be careful and everything has to be calculated to ensure I don’t end up hurting someone or accidentally destroy something from the excess force. For example in this instance, I have to take into account and figure out how much resistance her thrusters could output in order to be able to ground her safely. Too much too soon could possibly flatten her.”
She clicked her beak a few times thereafter, she was aware it was a little bit of a long-winded response but she felt it was important to briefly explain it as well.

Soon after Tails moved in to remove the suspected objects from Cello’s grip and to his thanks she smiled slightly, “Glad to help. Her reactions are interesting to say the least, maybe we cou-” the bird began but before she could finish, nor could Tails finish removing all the objects when all of a sudden the creaks of creeping ice swallowed the doorway to the workshop. Then the door was kicked clean off its hinges and straight at her! Still with her grip on a number of things the avian couldn’t move a muscle and with a breath of fear she let out two mechanical wails of a siren with alarm; sounding rather oddly close to a car’s alarm going off. She had shut her eyes, already bracing for the impact…

But no such door slammed into her small frame.

One eye blinked open as she eased her grimace and then blinked again; this time with surprise to have found that the robot had taken swift action and prevented it from hitting her. However, before she could say anything to Sapphire, her attention was drawn back to the door when one of two Mobians bellowed out a warning.
‘Oh, he’s from one of the Front Lines. I remember liaising reports to HQ from him and his squad.’ she thought before her eyes wondered over to the armored one beside him, ‘Then there’s Doubles. Been a while. Last I heard of him was when he was delivering reports about patrol routes of Eggman’s affiliates and robots.’
From his brash explanation she noted a couple of things, but more importantly, he knew more about this situation. Possibly more than anyone else presently inside the workshop.
“Wait, yet? What’s going on?” she questioned.

However, it seems that right a trend of not getting to finish what she wanted to say given how much was happening in the workshop. It all felt like a domino effect of something, anything, happening suddenly unfolded one after the other after a short period of time. Because know a Mobian of feline descent had appeared out of nowhere, rushed in, pounced on Sonic and now the two of them disappeared.
“O-okay? That just happened?” Cello stammered before finally letting go of the remaining debris in her grip and they landed safely away from the others. She breathed and flexed her fingers; she could move again, ‘I sure picked a fine day to deliver cupcakes.’

Not necessarily looking for an answer, and not necessarily surprised either that when she turned her attention to follow a few short steps away from Sapphire that yet even more events had unfolded; and boy were they doozies! She felt a little helpless watching it all unfold from when charging her canon to fire at the pair-
“No! Please wai-” she cried.
- only for the two to be moved by someone else she hadn’t seen before take the hit. Then soon after the robot held her weapon over the other at such close range. The bird took a cautious side-step to get a better view of what was going on, also casting silent glances of worry and questioning to the others present. She seemed to be waiting to see how they would react and would likely do something of a similar nature for she was worried that if she said or did anything now, it could risk getting this feline killed in the process.

Perhaps she didn’t need to when the cat had defended herself - involuntarily too, it seemed. The deflection of the projectile made quite an interesting noise to Cello and had the situation not been so dire she would have mimicked the noise herself as her expression of curiosity.
‘They seem to know each other somehow.’ she pondered as her heart raced but before she could do anything more the robot had held the other by the throat  and soon after out of the workshop and further towards and into the city.

Her feathers ‘floofed’ up with distress, then followed up with a quiet assortment of different noises and sounds which seemed befitting of her tense and distressed state; the error noise from a Windows computer being among them. After hearing Ty’s explanations her crest flickered with interest.
‘So their names are Caroline and Sapphire.’

Such anguished chirps, clicks, beeps and whatever-the-heck-that-sound-was were soon ceased as Doubles had stepped in with direction. Naturally, Cello fell silent and listened well; like always.
“Well given that I haven’t been able finish a sentence until now, it’s obvious that there’s no time to lose.” she asserted, though was partially amused by the prospect before she flared out her wings and nodded at Doubles before he rushed off, “I’m on it!”
With that the avian swooped out the window and soared through the sky, following the direction – and the path of destruction – to where the robot was.

(Permission granted from RPer that Tails didn’t remove all objects from being suspended in the air in time.)

The observant Mobian came to a natural stop in her steps to keep at a distance from the rest of them shortly after Tails had responded to her. She cast a concerned glance towards Sonic’s direction, one of understanding towards Tails and her wary gaze upon Sapphire had softened to an empathetic one.
‘Chaos energy and not of Robotnik’s technology? This is a bit alarming.’

After seeing the bit of blood from the supposed hit earlier, it earned a slight grimace from Cello, but she was also thankful no serious harm had afflicted Tails at the very least. She then raised a hand with a mild headshake, “No need to be sorry at all but I am here if you need anything.” she reassured as her crest feathers flickered with anticipation. Whilst there were many questions running though the avian’s mind, asking them right now didn’t seem appropriate for helping this now-robot was top priority.

Soon enough the robotic hedgehog had found her feet, and the bird’s eyes were keenly watching from where she stood too and a light gasp escaped from her beak when the weapons were drawn out – one of them directly at Tails’ head. She was a hair’s trigger away from taking action, but to do so now would be a foolhardy decision with such a dangerous weapon in close proximity to the fox’s head. Sure The Fastest Thing Alive was presently in the room and the bird was confident that he wouldn’t let anything happen to Tails, but it still didn’t make Cello more willing to take the risk. For now, she listened to what Tails had to say and stayed just as calm as he did and yet, all the while, what Sapphire was saying was rather intriguing all at the same time? Mysteries were some of Cello’s favourite things – coming second to her rather acquired tastes in food in fact, and it only wanted her to learn more about the robotic hedgehog even more.

There was a reason why she was an information broker after all.

A quiet sigh of relief soon left Cello when the canon had moved away from Tails’ head, but it didn’t make her any less ready for what was about to happen. Several things seemed to have happened one after the other the moment the hole was blasted through the roof of the workshop. First, any falling debris had suddenly stopped falling before any of them could hit the ground – or anyone below; all of which slowly rotated independently as they were suspended above the Mobians. Next, the desk, papers, tools and any whatchamacallits or doohickies which might be near the robot’s boots that should definitely not be near open flames were all suddenly sent flying towards where Cello was standing and came to an immediate halt just in front of her; still suspended and slowly rotating mid-air and hopefully out of harm’s way. The bird did pay particular attention to be gentle with any potentially fragile object as well, just in case. She hoped that the shift of momentum might have put out some of the flames of the lit documents, but the bird didn’t – or rather couldn’t – move to go put them out if they weren’t; even if she wanted to. Not with her focusing on so many objects in the workshop all at once.

She didn’t feel particularly vulnerable like she often did whenever she opted to delve into this particular pool of her powers either; but perhaps that was because she had two very capable Mobians already present in the room.

A certain avian Mobian was on her way to drop by her friend’s workshop for another visit; humming a cheerful tune as she went. Like usual she had taken off to the skies and soared on over to her destination with a white cardboard box filled with a dozen cupcakes cradled carefully in her hands for the duration of the flight. She figured that around this time Tails would usually be having dinner, so the lyre bird Mobian decided to make some dessert to share. Half of the cupcakes were rather ‘boring’ by her standards, but just in case Tails may not be a fan of her cinnamon-and-string-beans-and-candy-floss-cupcakes, half the batch were a dozen white chocolate cupcakes with assorted pastel-coloured icing and sprinkles.

As she drew nearer, her humming and smile dropped when the avian heard the horrible metallic screeching noise – as well as some sobbing?
‘Oh no.’
In that instance Cello beat her wings at a more urgent pace; her hands no longer cradled the box of treats and some were squashed under her tightened grip. Soon enough she was able to tuck in her wings closer to her body and took a dive, swooping right in through one of the open windows of the building. The small Mobian landed at a reasonable distance as the work space would allow from the other three already present with a soft thud.

“Tails? Is everything oka-” she began before stopping in the middle of her sentence; beak slightly agape as she took in the sight before her. It was certainly not something she was expecting. After a moment or two had passed, she had placed the box of cupcakes on a nearby table, took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. She then took a few calm steps towards them; all the while eying the robot warily, “Is there anything I can do to assist?”

Everywhere Else / Re: ALERT Dr.Kaw in the[Desert Zone]
« on: April 17, 2018, 11:40:36 pm »
The heat of the desert’s sun’s rays cascaded a barrage over the Mobian’s feathers as she seemed to be ‘free falling’ horizontally across the sand dunes of Desert Ruin Zone. Her beak was agape slightly as she panted and rolled across the sky, having decided that diverting physics on her person was a lot less effort than actually flying in such excruciating heat.

Soon enough the lyre bird’s crest feather seemed to have hummed out a quiet thrum of a stringed, lyre instrument and the manipulation of gravity upon herself alone ceased and resumed to obey the laws naturally occurring upon Mobius. Being so comfortable with such shifts, she showed no fear in falling towards the sand either; but also timed the spreading of her wings to soften the impact at just the right moment. Cello had landed a short distance away from where Dr Kaw and his ‘crow’nies were currently excavating, but the site where the crystals were being dug up was also between herself and Lukas; so she wasn’t near him. His camouflage appeared to be quite well crafted, for she didn’t even notice he was there from where she was standing. Who knows, she might even become a worthy distraction?

Whilst the war was over and tasking a break from her job was often encouraged, some parts of Cello nagged at her that she shouldn’t and couldn’t relax when finding the locations of broken down Eggbots was so important. It would be both dangerous and irresponsible if they were just left lying around so she would be sure to notify the appropriate members of the Resistance regarding to collecting and either dispose of or recycle such weapons.

Cello clicked her dry beak against each other and tilted her head when she noticed quite a few Mobians were already here excavating and from the looks of it, harvesting the power sources – dangerous power sources to boot. She felt taken aback at first, contemplating on what she should do next, ‘I’m easily outnumbered so that’s a bad sign.’ she thought, but given the situation looking rather suspicious activity she couldn’t stand by idly and do nothing. She wasn’t well versed in combat first hand either, so the next thing she did was pull out her mobile phone to fire off a text message to two of her friends: Tails and Vulff.
[I’ve found a deactivated Eggbot in Desert Ruin Zone but some guys have beat me to it. Looks suspicious and I’m going to investigate. I’ll update soon.]

Pocketing her phone once again, Cello took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.
‘It’s okay, I can do this.’ she encouraged herself before deciding to make a bold move for such a small Mobian and marched on over to the flock, “Excuse me,” she called out, mostly looking to the one who wasn’t getting his hands dirty, once again eying the crystals being harvested, “I have come here on official Resistance business to dispose of the Eggbot but what you’re gathering is exactly the reason why it is so important for these procedures to conducted properly. Something also tells me that you don’t have a permit either.”

Everywhere Else / Re: [Tails' Workshop] Rejoice and Rebuild

"You think so?" Cello asked Tails softly with a fond smile. She may be older, but there was just so inspiring about three of the most known leaders of the Resistance - two of whom were currently in the room right now - and she felt rather fortunate to befriend at least one of them already over the course of trying times, "Alright! I'll do it! Oh I bet you would have seen so many different things while flying in your plane - and from all of your adventures as well. I'm excited to do the same some day."

She then continued, emphasizing the last of her words with a gesture next to her head to look as though she was holding a phone, "And no doubt that you still have a lot to do but at least you know that if you need anything, all you need to do is call."
The bird then went quiet as she listened to Tails address the detective, watching them both rather intently.

Next thing the avian knew, Sonic had announced that he would pick up their food, left and had returned just as quickly as he had promised. After another mildly wary glance at Vulff and Tentei, Cello stretched out her wings and glided back down to ground level, landing right in front of the table. She then let her hands dive into the bag before she decided to nose beak-first into it until the bag had completely covered her head and some of her arms. The bird soon retrieved her beloved oddity of a lunch, procuring the lid open to grabt the steam which had built up within some liberty. She savoured the odd smell first before taking a bite into it with a fork.
"You know, I've always wondered," the inquisitive bird pondered out loud in between bites, "I understand getting there to and from rather instantaneously, but how is it that the food has been cooked so quickly? So far the only theory I could come up with is time travel... or maybe magic."
She smirked at the blue Mobian, there was no bite to her words for she was genuinely curious; at worst perhaps sounding mildly concerned about irresponsible use of a probability if she was correct, "Then there's also the question of sudden momentum shifts miraculously not affecting the food during transport. How curious indeed."

The bird positively beamed at the wolf, "Likewise!" she chirped.

As she always did whenever with the company of one or more Mobians, the Information Broker kept a watchful eye over everyone she could see and kept tabs on what was said and done. In this particular case, she found that her attention was trained on Vulff as she quietly nibblef away at her food. No doubt his subtle signal was picked up on and she smoothly signalled back in confirmation with a deceptively idle flick of her crest feathers whilst she ate. Cello too had her suspicions, and honestly probably wasn't far from Vulff's oqn suspicions, but as always she wants absorbing the occurances ever so readily. It was rather interesting at the least!

Cello then chuckled at his comment, "Well potatoes often go well with eggs. You're welcome to try some if you're brave enough?"

Soon enough that guzzling beak swiveled over towards to Tentei again when he spoke to her, causing for her to tilt her head, "As is part of the job, but I'm sure you're well aware of not being able to be friends with everyone. Let alone care about what they think is to be expected when performing public services, Detective." she asserted.

What he did next, when he insisted Tails to take the blueprints, Cello's feathers fluffed out with irritation, "You really can't take no for answer, can you? Perhaps it's a good thing when going under investigations, Detective, but for situations such as these... perhaps not so much... unless you suspect any of us of something?" she questioned calmly as she took a few steps to stand beside Tails. She knew that no doubt the twin-tailed fox was more than capable of handling things himself, but her questions was a gesture of both support for the inventor and an excuse to quickly glance over the blueprints herself. She didn't look at it long enough to read any of it, but she did manage to see the diagrams and pictures which were on it. Obviously it was up to Tails whether or not he wanted to take the blueprints; should he choose not to accept it, Cello would likely try to find a way to get her hands on it herself. Any data she could learn from or at least know about, was valuable to her. Never know when knowing such a thing could come in handy!

If Cello could read minds, she would probably find it odd that Tentei noticed names before any pictures that would had likely stood out on paper with a blue background, but thankfully, and much to Tentei's wishes, she could not and therefore didn't ask about the names on the papers as she watched him begin his journey out of the workshop.

Another chipper laugh chirped out from Cello upon hearing Sonya and she then made her way over to the medic, "So Sonya, I gotta know, tell me more about yourself and do you have any plans for anything fun now that the war is over?"

Mobotropolis / Re: A suspicious coffee date( Cello/Rouge)
« on: April 07, 2018, 02:15:09 am »
Right on the nick of time the feathered Mobian had arrived shortly after Rouge had. Cello landed swiftly and softly outside, taking a moment to quickly realign any loose feathers or pieces of clothing which had dared to waft out of place during the flight before stepping inside the establishment. She had a quirky skip to her stride, inhaling slowly to take in the endearing ambience of the cafe and naturally crossed paths with one of the waiters, Pierre as she headed towards the often secluded and favorable table.
"Hello! I'll take a Creamy Keto Coffee with two slices of French toast please! I'll be at the usual table. Thankies~" she commented along the way.

Soon enough Cello had rounded the corner and unsurprisingly found Rouge waiting and reading a book, causing for the lyre bird to quickly double-check her watch to make sure she wasn't late, "Rouge, glad to see you've made it~" she chirped cheerfully before slipping onto the seat opposite the bat, "So what's new? I hope you've been well!"

"The brightest ray there is!" Cello chirped in confirmation before she side-glanced to the side in thought, "Yeah, I mean pretty much? Having an extra skill or two is pretty handy when the right situation calls for it."

The avian remained on the higher up perch as Tentei spoke to her again; her attention was primarily focused on him but she also idly kept a wary eye on the other canine in the room. It was pretty obvious where the source of Vulff's irritations were and she trusted the larger wolf given what and how he had proven himself during his time with the Resistance, but the bird simply felt more comfortable standing up on the higher perch.

He feathers remained fluffed out as she listened carefully, "I would argue that prioritising one's commitments before pleasantries to be quite commendable." Cello pointed out calmly before shrugging her wings, "It honestly doesn't bother me personally. There are some other antics which I'd question, but hey probably best to adhere to the owner of this workshop's wishes, Detective."

Her crest feathers flickered up when she heard the offer of bringing back snacks and Cello immediately raised her hand, "Oo! Oooo! Fluffy! Fluff! Fluff! Floof! Fluffer! Vulff! You gotta bring me back one of those banana and beans omelette they sell! I haven't had one of those in so long! I'll pay you back!"
