Late in the morning, the black hedgehog minded his own business as usual,  partaking training in isolation away from the city,. a night of practice will do him wonders to relieve stress. He may be forced to take a involuntary break from G.U.N for a week, it doesn't mean he was going to slack off in physical activity.  In a field with green pastures, three vertical tree logs marked with circular targets, Shadow jumped in the air and discharged a series of three Chaos Spear projectiles, landing their mark on in the center simultaneously.  The ultimate lifeform quietly folded his arms observing the arrow-shaped chaos energy dissipated, exposing the targets for another round.

A ship of unknown origon is stationary in the sky, its metallic architecture brought an ominous presence over critters and mobians below,  its roaring engines and deployment of smaller ships grabbed Shadow's attention, pondering the location they are being dropped. The dark doppelganger's communicator received an SOS message from Freedom Fighter Sonya, taking a look, scarlet eyes locked unto a holographic screen. 

“If anyone is reading this, this is Sonya Heart, I’m messaging for immediate back up! this is an emergency if anyone is reading this please hurry and please be careful the forest is being patrolled by unusual looking robots and I don’t want to think about what will happen if any of us are caught by one of those.”

No phrase uttered to confirm his assistance, deciding to hang up the message quietly and tailed after the triangular aircraft in blistering speed. Arriving closer to the scene, the black hedgehog spotted a robot scouting the area, a strange battle droid the doctor warned everyone, does it belong to Eggman? It cant be..he was dead!  it looks quiet different from the doctor's inventions, maybe not.  Whatever this thing is, it will be sent to the junkyard where it belongs.

The black blur dash towards the robot, shredding the intruder into scraps by ramming through it with speed alone,  standing over the wreckage with a cold glare then allowed stern eyes to scan his surroundings for Sonya's whereabouts.

The ultimate lifeform waited until the coast was clear, he close his eyes and build up an unstable radiation of chaos energy within his body, once it's ready he would open his eyes and discharge the energy, it would expand all over the city until there was nothing left standing of Robotnik's territory. In the middle of the wreckage there was Shadow crouching on a single knee, he stood back up feeling accomplished of his action. Without a word he would quietly warp out of the scene, never to be seen in this disgusting excuse for a city again.

Shadow spotted the next three sets of swat-bots and nodded accordingly, he utilized chaos control to warp in front of them, slammed a shoe against the SWAT-bots metal frame in the middle, creating a dent on the side of its temple. The he punched a hole on the robot to the right and ripped off some wires, lastly he decapitated the final droid with a powerful uppercut. Emerging victorious the ultimate lifeform stood with his arms folded, unimpressed at the lack of a challenge.

"Evacuate the remaining civilians and get out of here, I'm going to destroy this city" instructing Skathe and Kilowattz while staring at a logo of Eggman's face, he wont allow the doctor to have any means for tyranny.

"......" Hesitation is the best way to describe this situation, how could he answer that question without revealing to her he never rode a ferris wheel before? There's also the sentiment of not wanting her to be alone on a ferris wheel, but he cant allow her to see past his brooding facade, not a chance in hell when his dignity is still intact! Shadow's eyes drifted to Sonya while his eye sockets drooped half-way and folding arms.

"It was your idea for us to be here, so far this ride didn't exceed my expectations" shifting the blame on her and unintentionally letting slip about his first-experience with the ferris wheel, at least he didn't outright admit it to her face. Scarlett eyes observe the area beneath them, noting the actual size of the carnival to be a lot bigger than how it appears to be on the ground, next his eyes rested on to a roller coaster, staring at it for a moment, the contrast between this ride and the other was night and day, why the hell couldn't this ferris wheel move faster like the roller coaster? "Now THAT is fast" embracing his love of speed. he can acknowledge one advantage it has over the coaster is being able to see the sights.

Shadow's expression reeks indifference to Kilowattz idolizing him, he felt doing his job to protect mobius from the clutches of evil did not warrant any praise. The black hedgehog huffed over thier reasons for being in this place. "Hmph, you can clean up after I'm done disposing the trash" another group of swat-bots threaten to disturb the lives of civilians, and the best way to fix the problem is using his trademark spin-dash.

Shadow curled into a black and red ball then shoot himself towards the robots, spinning like a buzz saw, their metallic frame is shredded to pieces upon contact.

Shadow stopped to look at himself in a mirror, his reflection appears to be wobbly with a bloated torso, his face retained their mask of indifference. The next row of mirrors depict the black hedgehog with a skinnier body, some are tall to exaggerated degrees, others are smaller than his already small-stature. "Its all parlor tricks, a pathetic attempt to scare people" snorted, its hard to tell if he is annoyed these mirrors made him look fat or he knew none of this stuff will frighten anyone.

"!" A ghost pumpkin popped in front of Shadow out of nowhere, briefly startling him before the entity disappears in laughter, a soft growl of annoyance rattled his windpipe and returning to his poker face, hoping the doctor didn't see his shred of weakness. He opened the door to the next room and nothing of worth is happening at first, Walls of fake blood dripping down the walls and a fake zombie pops out of an opened coffin nearby, the black hedgehog stopped walking and watched the red liquid poured down to the floor for a moment and once again was briefly startled by the zombie jump scare. "!....!"

He regained his composure feeling irritated the universe wants to humiliate him, having enough he stormed over to the next door which took them back to the main hall, the end is the exit door. Shadow walked out the door and stood outside waiting patiently for Sonya with her arms crossed.

The interior of the castle is what would any visit expect from its namesake, its rather dark but not so dark people wont be able to find their way out. On the walls there are images of spooky ghosts, black widow spiders hanging on the corners of the wall sitting on fake cobwebs, jack-O-lanterns plastered everywhere and lastly a fairly large humanoid skeleton is hanging above the ceiling.

Participants navigated themselves through the doors and Shadow is nowhere to be found, at least not visibly to the naked eye, the black hedgehog is hiding in darkness, resembling more of his namesake, awaiting for Sonya to walk in the entrance. The black hedgehog used his super speed to zoom in front of the fennec then proceeded to say "Boo!" attempting to startle her.

Shadow didn't have an interest in participating, getting soaked in water wasn't his forte and he prefer to stay dry and warm throughout the day. "Wha-!" He didn't have a choice in the matter due to Sonya volunteering for the hedgehog against his wheel by pulling his arm to come forward. He gave the sly fennec fox a silent glare as if to say "You'll pay for this" but he is doing this for charity so something good will come out of his humiliating expense.

Shadow stood on the plank as the guy instructed and folded his arms, waiting for Sonya to make her move.
