Scourge weaved out of the way from the chaos blasts with relative ease. He tossed his combat knife from hand to hand like he was antsy to sink it deeper into the black hedgehog's flesh. When Sonya tried to dial back Scourge's murderous tendencies he walked forward pointing towards the enemy. "If you hadn't noticed that last attack could have killed you. He's not like Sonic where he'll beat you into submission. With guys like him, it's take them out, before they take you out." When Sonya held GUN's living weapon in place, he smiled looking down to his knife before gently pressing the tip to the hedgehog's torso.

He gave an annoyed glare addressing the blonde killjoy. "Fine, I won't kill him." He said before lowering the knife. "You know the story why this bunker is sitting on enough firepower to plunge Mobius into a hundred apocalypse? Don't get me wrong I can appreciate that kind of destruction, but when I kill Sonic, I want something left to rule over."

Sliding down the wall after he was attacked caused Scourge to bend over in pain, as he was still writhing from the pain the bullet wounds had caused him. Gritting his teeth the vile monster saw red when he witnessed Shadow attacking Sonya. Pushing himself to his feet the speedster gave a deadly glare and an eerie evil laugh that echoed throughout the chamber. "Alright, I've got two things to tell you jag off. Firstly you call that super speed? Your little rocket boots are sad. Secondly I DON'T LIKE OTHER PEOPLE TOUCHING MY STUFF."

He roared as he dashed forward so fast he became invisible; during this assault deep gashes would appear across Shadow's chest before Scourge skidded to a stop holding a bloody blade. He tossed the combat knife into the air catching it, holding the blade sideways as he used his free hand to beckon the enemy closer. "You think you've got what it takes to tangle with the king? Show me that power you're always crapping on about."

When Shadow cut off their path Scourge paused for but a moment before he speaking. "We were just leaving. Don't mind us, we wouldn't want to cut into your moping time." Scourge said still pulling Sonya as he moved to push Shadow aside. The speedster was unaware Shadow and Amy were an item and as thus assumed the black hedgehog would be thrilled the baddest dude in the multiverse was willing to leave willingly.

As he pushed past a package of the plastic explosive hid the ground with a THUD! falling out of his jacket. His eyes went wide as he stared at the bombs then back up to Shadow before giving a side glance.

Taking a deep breath he breathed a sigh of relief, as a refreshing wave washed over him once inside the bubble. Its healing effects seemed to restore Scourge's energy, and his hazy vision was becoming clear. Once the pain had passed Scourge felt all over his body amazed the wounds had healed up and, was a little scared the bullets were still inside him as he frantically patted himself down, feeling the metal bumps under the healed up wounds.

Once he'd pulled himself together the hedgehog sped up the vibrations of his body causing the bullets to phase through his body, hitting the bottom of the barrier clanking against one another as he did so. Scourge vibrated even harder until he phased through the bubble hitting the floor; pushing himself back up he straightened up his jacket and adjusted his sunglasses. Having been in such great pain what Sonya did to get him out of the line of fire was hazy, but he knew she'd be able to handle it. Raising an eyebrow seeing her freakout over directions when Scourge had just witnessed her deal with sentry guns made him smile.

"You are just the cutest thing when you're clueless." He remarked pointing to the south corridor. "Also, thanks for the save." He mumbled that last part quietly, he hated admitting he needed help to anybody. Now aware of the guns Scourge just smiled causing the mounted turrets to explode; It appears as if he never left his spot but in reality, it was a trick of the eye; Scourge had disposed of the turrets that quickly it appeared as if he hadn't moved from the spot. After his impressive display, he zipped up to a wall and knocked on it causing it to ring hollow. A smirk appeared as he took a small amount of the plastic explosive and mounted it to the wall; after firmly planting the bomb he stepped back and hit the detonator. In a small controlled explosion, the concrete and plaster crumbled away to reveal a room stocked to the ceiling with nuclear weapons.

Scourge's jaw dropped upon seeing the weapons of mass destruction. He gave an impressed whistle as he admired the craftsmanship. "You've gotta hand it to Ol Buttnik, the dude knew how to build em big." He said as he ran his fingers over the Eggman Empire logo sprayed onto one of the bombs. Before long Scourge caught on as he looked down to the remainder of the C4 in his jacket; if they set an explosive charge on these warheads everything in an eight-kilometre radius would be vaporized, including them. "Sonya, we're leaving." He said firmly grabbing her wrist pulling the fox back out the way they came. "Somebody is setting us up. Had you planted those charges you'd be dead along with everything else in this jungle." The villain was furious somebody would set Sonya up like this, and planned to rip the King a new asshole as soon as they arrived back in the city.

To reach the highly fortified G.U.N outpost all that was required was a short sprint through the jungle thanks to Scourge’s speed. Upon arriving at their location the green hedgehog set his partner down; a large steel door halts the two. Scourge looks around as the sounds of the jungle seem to grow louder and louder irritating Scourge as it seemed to be interrupting his train of thought; growing tired of the annoyances the jungle provided the hedgehog simply curled into a ball and revved up until he had built up that much friction he started to burn a blazing trail behind him. Once he had collected enough speed he shoots off roaring towards the door, upon colliding with the door his sharp spines slice at the door and spark wildly against the military grade steel; acting like a wild buzzsaw he’d carved a path clean through, leaving the sides of the door as red hot smoking steel.

Seeming rather pleased with himself Scourge reached into his jacket producing a small leather pouch before pulling a cigar out of it, he then proceeded to use the white-hot metal to light the cigar before taking a long drag, inhaling the thick smog into his lungs. “Damn I’m good.” He said before gesturing for Sonya to cross the threshold as he blew the smoke he’d inhaled away from her direction. Now the two were both inside they were met with what seemed like endless steel hallways; each seemed to go on forever only separated by small signs breaking up the areas by numbers. The soulless steel bunker was cold and sterile, stinking strongly of gun powder and disinfectant.

The two made their way forward with the hedgehog idly tapping the ashes from his cigar onto the clean metal flooring; giving pause the villain opens the orders Sonya had been given and pointed towards the Weapons Wing. “Alright, so we’re after the weapons wing. It’s meant to be in room C-34.” Before tucking the scroll back into his jacket he looked to the blonde fox and gnashed his teeth as he spoke. “Just so we’re clear, I’m only here to protect YOU! The King Of Mobius can blow it out his ass for all I care.” He smiled pulling open his jacket revealing the insides were lined with plastic explosives.

“I know they only gave you enough C4 to wipe out the weapons wing but that’s so…. Boring. So I brought enough to level the entire building and kill any survivors that may be lingering around. Why just pull out the snake’s fangs when you can cut off the head?”

Since he’d been standing around announcing his plans to bring the entire base down to ground zero the security had caught onto him, and mounted turrets sprang from the ceiling opening fire. The blitzing bullets caught Scourge off guard as several rounds tore through his back exiting through his chest; feeling the sharp pains blast through his insides he fell to the ground before forcing himself back up to push Sonya behind the cover of a nearby wall. Having thrust the fox out of the way left Scourge open, as the automated turrets pinned him down, continuing to shoot the hedgehog as he fell to the ground and clasped at his wounds.

FUCK!” He howled out in pain while spitting up blood as he desperately tried to crawl away only for the guns to adjust and start a new line of fire preventing him from escaping. Crimson liquid oozed through the gaps between his fangs while the pain caused him to growl like a wild dog. Gritting his teeth Scourge looked up to Sonya knowing she had what it takes to save him. “Screw the pissing mission! SONYA GET ME THE FUCK OUT OF HERE.” He said far more concerned with saving his own skin than the orders of some stuffed shirt.

Tea parties, talking about his childhood the entire situation he'd found himself in made Scourge cringe but it was making Sonya smile so he would simply grin and bare it. The couple trailed the family throughout the day witnessing all kinds of wholesome events from the aforementioned tea party to a home cooked meal in their cozy cottage. The green hedgehog personally didn't understand why she adored her prenatal figures because his mother walked out before he was born and his father played a large part in the monster he had become today. As time past and the stars made their way into the sky Sonya's parents ended the day by tucking the tiny fox into bed and reading her a story; the story detailed a princess of the same name who awaited a handsome price to come and sweep her off her feet. Scourge gagged at the thought of something so whimsical and magical without even a trace of conflict. While he was stewing in his loathing for the innocence of Sonya's childhood the night ended when her parents gently closed the door as she drifted off to sleep.

Soon her folks retired to their bedroom and started talking about all the adult world and all the troubles that came with it. Hearing he whispers of war Scourge grabbed Sonya's wrist and pulled her towards a purple portal that had just torn itself into reality. Staring into the swirling vortex of energy he urged his partner to take one last good look through the window. "Our time's up. Couldn't be better if you ask me you don't need to stick around to hear this. You've got your phone right? Feel free to turn off the flash and the sound and snap a picture. It's the last time I can bring you here before they catch up with me."

Scourge backed off placing his hands on Sonya's shoulders before reflecting on her last comment. "You must think I’m the worst girlfriend..”

"Yeah, you've been a huge pain in my ass the last few days but Sonya that doesn't matter. Like yeah we all have terrible thoughts about ourselves and others but that's all they are thoughts. You're not what you think, you're what you do and I'm choosing to do something nice so let's just drop the insecurity and enjoy it huh?" With her second question Scourge looked away sitting in the slush as he placed one hand in his coat and used the others to squeeze hers a little tighter; he seemed to have a look of disinterest and anger as he drudged up the past. "Never really saw the appeal of parents myself. My father placed the barrel of a sawed off shotgun in my mouth and pulled the trigger when I was eight......He was too slow." He commented before clearing his throat.

"Let's not go dragging up my dumpster-fire of a childhood. What I think shouldn't matter, if you loved them that's good enough for me. Now enjoy this while you can because we can't do this again, there's rules to this stuff even for me. Time travel is a delicate situation it's like running on thin ice, if you slip up or cause a crack the whole thing breaks apart and you could get clung out to the far reaches of time." Scourge's mind was heavy with the burden of what he was doing and he couldn't afford to loose focus so he stood and took a deep breath. "You can't interact with them but if there's anything you want to see in the past while we're here I can take you there."

Scourge had endured all but fifteen minuets of one of Sonya's lectures before he tried to drown her out with the sound of death metal coming from his sound system. The argument only got more and more heated when the golden fox encased his speakers in a barrier bubble, forcing him to hear everything she had to say. The two bickered back and forth until Sonya decided to let Scourge know she was less than pleased with the fact he didn't get her a gift for the holidays but allowed her to shower him with lavish items.

Scourge seemed unphased by Sonya's efforts to make him feel bad and finally decided to put an end to the argument. "I've agreed not to kill your stupid friends and still you won't get off my case. As for a gift for the holidays I've been working on something that'll blow you out of the water I just needed some extra time to work out the correct date, this shit is sensitive." Pulling out a small note pad from his jacket he looked over some numbers he'd scribbled down before tapping the one that give him the opportunity he wanted. "I can't stand your nagging a moment longer, we're jamming off right now if it'll shut you up." With that said Scourge grabbed Sonya's scarf gently wrapped it around her neck before taking her by the hand and guiding her outside. The green villain dropped to all fours before taking off at such insane speeds the resulting sonic boom shook the street and sent Sonya flying across the road falling into the bus station seat. Scourge zoomed past that same bus station several times tearing up the pavement each time faster than the last, the faster the hedgehog went the more unstable reality seemed to become as waves of distortion echoed through the air making it seem like the ripples on the surface of a lake. It wasn't long before what seemed like ripples became a big splash as Scourge passed the bus station for a final time before exploding into a maelstrom of reality distorting energy taking the form of a swirling vortex of purple power.

Skidding to a stop Scourge took Sonya's hand and guided her towards the swirling vortex pulling her in before she could protest. Venturing through the portal made one feel like they were getting flung through the reaches of time as such high speeds it felt like your skin was going to fly off. Stepping out of the portal his black boots touched down on soft snow in a forest setting likely not too far from the city, they were hidden behind shrubbery south of a small village comprised of humble huts. Placing his hand on Sonya's shoulder he guided her into ducking as three figures rushed past them. The three figures seemed to be a family of foxes all holding hands as they trudged through the snow; between the parents was a golden haired little angel with the biggest ears Scourge had ever seen. He smiled and held back the branches of the bush to allow her a better view before speaking very quietly. "I know this is going to be a lot to take in but you can't talk to them or let them know you're here but you can look all you want. I figured you'd want a chance to see them again after all that sentimental crap you said back at the hut. Sorry if I've seemed annoyed lately but time travel isn't something that's easily figured out." He told her with a whisper taking her hand in his tightly closing his fingers around hers while the happy family beyond had gotten into a snowball fight.

It wasn't long until the father had nailed the little one with a snowball a bit too hard causing her to cry, knowing her daughter was ever the sensitive one the mother scooped her up wrapping her darling in her pink jacket while she begun to sing a long since forgotten song that lingered only in Sonya's dreams; her soft voice carried the notes through the air giving her daughter smile that soon turned to joyous laughter.

Scourge nodded addressing Amy leaning back as she spoke, taking in all her rage and anxiety before before putting the two to rest permanently. "Stay away from your home. Is that all? Easy enough." He told the pink hedgehog before he narrowed his eyes at Sonya getting feisty, watching the timid fox get fired up excited Scourge but he was done with letting his partner make a fool of him. "Yanno whay Blondie just for that remark." Scourge stood and shouted out to the rest of the rough rabble at the bar. "Next rounds on us guys so break out the expensive stuff." I hardy roar of approval and clinking glasses went up over the bar as the patrons all ordered the most expensive thing on the menu.

With the shots and scotch flowing freely a waitress came to their table with the check before Scourge slid it over towards Sonya and Amy grinning all the while. "The girls here will cover their drinks, the round for the rest of the bar and my tab." After that Scourge was gone in an instant leaving the duo with a pushy waitress who wouldn't take no for an answer.

She was a cute shrew really working the pink dress the bar made all their female staff wear. She quickly calculated the green hedgehog's request and then placed it before the fox and hedgehog.

"Let's see the shout, plus your drinks in addition to Mr. Green's tab all up that comes to one thousand five hundred Mobiums. Will that be cash or credit ladies?" She asked flickering her eyelashes while hoping for a tip from the rather generous women that offered to cover this rather extravagant bill.

10
Scourge grit his teeth as he growled out his next sentence. "That's not what I meant.....Look can we not do this in front of her? It's not that I don't appreciate your affection it's just.....let's just say I'm not a fan of public displays of affection and leave it at that." Scourge rubbed his forehead annoyed before pointing outside. "Grab your coats we're all going out for dinner. The three of us need to sort out where we stand and I'd prefer to do it in a public place so Sonya won't get grabby and you pull yourself together." Before the girls hand a chance to object they were whisked away to a local bar dressed in their casual attire. The waitress approached and Scourge ordered for the three of them without concern for what the girls even wanted.

Before too long strong drinks were set before them the cool ice rattling as the sounds of the busy bar filled the air. Pushing the tall frosty glasses towards the girls the green hedgehog pointed towards the table as he started speaking. "Alright, that's better so let's start talking deal. People cannot know Sonya and I are an item, it'll be bad for my reputation and she'll loose her job. As much as I hate the idea of helping people many of which are my victims her profession makes her happy and I respect that. I know you won't keep this between us for free so what do you want? You already know I won't kill you but don't you dare ask me to turn over a new leaf to end up like that blue idiot. Money, diamonds, somebody whacked? I can make any of the following happen." He told the pink hedgehog as he patted himself down looking for his lighter as he finally found it, lighting up a cigar he blew a haze of smoke into the air. The smoke leaving Scourge's lips joined the rest of the fog lingering in the air from the rest of the patrons; this was the kind of old fashioned bar that still allowed smoking in the establishment.

11
Scourge set the water Sonya got him aside as he was hoping for a beveridge with a little bite to it. When Sonya started to fall into his arms and pressed her lips against he pulled away and gently pushed the fox off as he gestured towards Amy. "Not in front of company, get a hold of yourself would you." He said in a cold rather affectionate tone, clearly evident the green hedgehog did not like displays that made him look soft in front of his enemies. When Amy brought out a tray of drinks he snatched up a beer snapped off the top with his sharp teeth before guzzling the entire thing and tossing the glass into the roaring fire watching it shatter against the brickwork. Scourge stood pacing back and forth passing the two girls over and over before he spoke again.

"She's not stupid she can see we're an item. Look if you mean this much to Sonya I won't kill you. I'm guessing it's going to be like this with all your friends so I'll try not to kill them either." He gave the set a look that seemed unnaturally serious for Scourge's face to make as he spoke the next part deadly serious and devoid of emotion. "I can look the other way with the pink skirt here and probably the rest of your friends but Sonic still needs to die. I know all about your past with him I flicked through his photo albums before I torched his place. Sleepovers, selfies and the fact you two walk around town HOLDING HANDS! Why don't you just sleep with the guy? I don't know if you have feelings for him or if you two are just weirdly close friends. One day I will kill Sonic and you will have to choose between me and him. I can let this slide for you but as long as Sonic is alive I can't truly live, he's always cramping my style to; he just swoops in and saves the day, he's the only one who can stop me. Pinky over here would get flattened and the rest of the Freedom Fighters are just as pathetic."

After having his say Scourge headed towards the door not caring for what either of the woman had to say after he made his point.

WHAT IF!? / Re: The Great ANTI-Social
« on: December 12, 2018, 01:31:00 pm »
Scourge rolled his eyes annoyed giving Sonya what she wanted as a play to his ego was all it took. "Damn straight." He said with a big smile as he pulled his squeeze closer only to shoot an annoyed glare towards the purple hedgehog that dared to taunt him. "Conquered my home dimension in less than a week and declared myself king." He puffed out his chest clearly full of pride and accomplishment as global domination was a feat very few could accomplish, not even the likes of Robotnik had managed that. "In a way I'm a step ahead of this Robotnik you all fear so much, I succeeded where he failed."

Just as he mentioned the good doctor one of his horrid creations had traipsed into the room. Upon laying eyes upon her haunting gaze like a balloon all of Scourge's confident stance escaped him just like air in a balloon. His sharp teeth chattered as he pushed Alexa aside stumbling backwards and falling over himself only to scramble to get back to his feet. After he hit a wall he would clutch at this chest as he struggled to breath desperately trying to calm himself down. He knew that face all to well it was staring down at him as he was inches from death after he almost completed his goal of killing Sonic. Her features were burned into his mind only this time warped and twisted by cold steel lacking any of the lingering compassion her organic counterpart held. True Scourge was a monster but Karahl was like a demon from the deepest pits of the underworld forged in ice and spite. He opened his mouth but no words escaped he just stood frozen with fear so much so that his legs couldn't even muster the courage to flee.

13
Scourge looked confused when Sonya jumped to Amy's defense and even more so when Amy apologized. He starred down the tiny fox before carefully glancing to the doubtful hedgehog behind her. He clenched his fists tightly before closing his eyes allowing the wild electrical storm brewing around him to dissipate. Watching Amy throw herself in front of Sonya had given Scourge a different outlook on the pink hedgehog as he addressed to two of them. "Babe, she really means that much to you? I knew you we're attached to your friends but this is sort of sickening." He said with a look of great disdain.

When Amy called up her golden mallet Scourge placed his hand on the head of the hammer lowering her weapon slowly or at least trying to point it away from him. "You won't be needing that. Anybody who would jump to Blondie's defense like that is a valuable asset. I'm not sure if you can just apologize for almost killing somebody but you don't have to worry about me trying to whack you anymore." Scourge turned away from the girls as he clawed at his lower eyelids in frustration at what he was about to say. "It's clear this skir....Amy here makes you happy and only has your safety in mind so.......I guess given the circumstances I can take her off my shit list but if anybody asks I came in here to murder the both of you and changed my mind because I wanted to watch you squirm." After roaring his demands he turned up the collar of the jacket before collapsing onto the lounge, letting his head fall backwards. "Angel can you please get me a drink?" He growled while he was desperately trying to get over the fact he did something nice. Scourge was rude, brutal and had the gaul to ask for a drink after trying to kill his hostess but they we're all still alive and that was something.

14
Scourge was unaware of Sonya's assault and stumbled forward dropping Amy to the side and luckily not straight into the fire place. Rubbing his elbows from the connected blow of the fire poker he shot his lover a dirty look before returning focus to Amy. When the pink hedgehog swung at him Scourge caught her fist in his open palm tightening his fingers around her hand; when she swung a second time using her enhanced speed Scourge responded by using his that was in a league all his own, he caught her second fist with his free hand and stared deep into her eyes. "You don't seem to know who you're dealing with Pinkie. You just don't get it you got lucky the first time we let because your buddies were powering you up but here alone....I'm faster than you, I'm stronger and I won't rest until you are dead."

Now having the pink hedgehog held in place he violently rammed his head into hers before placing his boot against her chest pushing her away as he released her hands. Scourge had let Amy get away before and was even humiliated by her on one occasion he felt he would never live down until she died. He stood tall as he straightened up his jacket now he had some room between him and the elegant hedgehog. "Sorry babe but the pink pain has to die. If you're going to miss her that much I'll buy you a rabbit and you can vent to that." Amy's fury would normally be something to behold however something was off about her, like she was sloppy in her movement as if something was weighing heavily on her mind. He glared towards Amy reaching into his jacket pulling out an assortment of knives and a pistol or two before dropping his entire arsenal to the ground, while the cold steel clanked against the floor the horrid killer pointed towards them. "I just want you to know, I could have killed you six ways from Sunday with any of my toys here if I sped up to the point where you were barely moving. You've seen me do it at the orphanage to those scrubs who tried to help my victims. Imagine any one of these piercing or blowing holes in that beautiful body of yours. I just wanted you to get a good look at the instruments I'm going to use to rend he flesh from your very bones."

With that Scourge smiled as green lightning shot through his eyes signifying the build up of the energy he needed to access his insane levels of speed that would allow him to move as if reality had frozen around him. The energy seemed to build up much more rapidly than last time as wild electrical energy started to crackle and surge from his body. "Any last words?" He uttered as his vile fangs gnashed together before sparing a glance towards his beloved. "If you want to say goodbye this is your last chance Sonya. Remember her face well because after I skin her alive she's going in that fire place."

15
The icy chill outside the cozy house was fitting as a monster drenched in blood, surging with wild electrical energy was at Miss Rose's doorstep. Scourge had been on a killing spree across town starting with the rich nobles who believed themselves safe in their ritzy mansions. He had various golden jewellery and priceless heirlooms hanging from his neck taken from the victims he'd brutally murdered; the tacky gold chains and amulets matched well with his equally tacky jacket with the flame decals. The green hedgehog's fingers twitched as he had a look of madness about him; he'd been consumed by a blood lust that had built up over the few days Sonya managed to contain his powers with the control collar but no more. He was now free let let Mobius feel his wrath and none more deserving than the pink pain that almost ensured he bought the farm.

With blinding speeds the wooden door exploded into splinters open as the vile villain broke in shooting towards his target. His eyes lit up seeing the comfortable and very flammable blanket Amy had wrapped herself in; tossing the cultured woman over his shoulder in a single motion he walked towards the flickering flames as they danced in the reflection of the lenses of his glasses. He raised Amy up and held her face just before the fire taunting her with that sharp toothed grin of his. "It's gunna be a real pleasure to see that pretty face of yours melt down to the bone. When I'm done, I think I'll use your skull as a bottle opener; opening beer is about all bitches are good for." He bellowed before he attempted to toss Amy into the fire-pit entirely. At this point Sonya was a non-factor and revenge on Amy Rose, the woman who almost sent him off to hell, was all that mattered.
